I hope everyone is having a great summer! Below are links to the forms for band camp. These forms must be returned, along with the $75.00 band camp fee, on the first day of band camp in August (not to the Tuesday night rehearsals). Please note that the medical release form must be notarized! Ron Locke, the booster president, will be present the first day to notarize forms if you need him too, but please do not sign them until you are in his presence! Continue to follow the website closely. PDFs of the marching band music will be made available as soon as possible. If you have any questions feel free to contact me at cobbhc@gm.sbac.edu or by phone at 352.514.4746.

Due to FHSAA regulation that states that no bands we will allowed at district tie breakers, we will not be accompanying the football team to Williston. Students are encouraged to go and support the team on their own!
The NHS Football team will be participating in a three team playoff game Monday night. The NHS Band plans to follow to team to support them in their bid for the district runner up title. Band members should plan to meet at the bandroom in band t-shirt and jeans at 5:30 Monday afternoon to load, with departure time at 6:00pm. The game begins at 7:00pm. We should return to NHS around 9:00pm.
If you have any questions please contact Mr. Cobb.
Congratulations to the Newberry High School Band of Pride. This past weekend at the Southern Showcase of Champions the band received a qualifying score for the FMBC State Semi-Final Show held in Tampa on Novemeber 21st. This is the first time in the history of the NHS Band that it has qualified for this event. The band also received the honors of superior visual package, superior percussion, superior drum majors; as well as best in class visual package. Congratulations to the band students, parents, and staff that made this possible!
The NHS Band of Pride was recognized among the other county bands as those who received straight superior ratings at the FBA District 4 Marching Performance Assessment this past weekend.
